It is noteworthy to point out that Viet Nam works with other receiving countries.  To my knowledge, International adoptions from Viet Nam to those countries are not currently in danger.

Finally… some answers for PAPs

This is probably not what anyone wants to hear right now, but at least some answers were provided.
Families may submit dossiers prior to July 1, 2008.
Families with referrals prior to Sept. 1, 2008 will have their adoptions completed (assuming that they are legitimate and the US finds no evidence of wrong doing).

In Viet Nam now

Our agency director left with the four families that just were approved this past Sunday, and they are all in Viet Nam now.  I really hope that everything goes very smoothly for those families and that they will really enjoy being united with their children.
