And we are going through a sharp turn….
FTIA’s Vietnam program is not working out the way that they planned, so we left the agency. We are now back to looking for an agency.
Oh joy.
Our decision to go with FTIA took us FOREVER, and now we have just until the end of June to get with an agency and get our dossier submitted to IAD in Vietnam. So, Daniel and I held an adoption summit with our parents. We have narrowed it down to 4 agencies: Adoptions from the Heart (Angelina Jolie’s agency), Los Ninos (which is on Brendan’s list), WACAP (Pioneer Program!), and Vietnamese Orphans Relief Fund (new, but run by adoptive parents).
Our assignment for the week, if we choose to accept it, is to find out everything we can about each agency as a family and hopefully come to a consensus about who the best agency for us will be.
